Domaine Le Galantin, Bandol Rosé 2017
Out of Stock
This rosé is dry, crisp, and with just the right amount of citrus.
About the vineyard:
"It was in 1972, the first harvest represented only a production of 12 hectoliters of rosé.
Since more than 30 years and over the years, the vineyard has grown, it has been structured. The cellar buildings have been modernized, the commercial circuit has been organized.
In Galantin, the winemakers, Céline and Jérôme (brother and sister), believe in the future of Bandol wines: Red, Rosé and White. The Mourvèdre grape gives the Bandol Rouge its typical characteristics and produces excellent aging wines, many of which are aged in our aging room.
Our vineyard is fairly fragmented - Communes of La Cadière, Le Castellet, Le Beausset but also in the town of Bandol where only a few hectares of vineyards have resisted the urbanization of the seaside.
Thanks to our attachment to the terroir, and to our love of the trade, the quality and the typicality of the red, rosé and white wines of the domain are recognized in France, in Europe and in the world.
The cellars have been modernized to meet the requirements of quality but the traditions remain: The Galantin has a long fermentation and aging from 18 months to 2 years in oak barrels. After bottling, made at the estate, the wine rests a few months in our cellars, before arriving on your table."
