Aromas of lemon oil, honeycomb, pastry cream and green apple introduce the 2017 Chablis 1er Cru Vaucoupin, an elegantly expansive, open-knit wine with succulent acids and a generous core of fruit. It's an attractive, charming Chablis that I suspect will tense up with further élevage.
